My name is Carolyn Booth. I am currently working in Year 1 after having spent most of my teaching career in Key Stage 2! I love the enthusiasm of younger children and the satisfaction of seeing their faces light up when they learn something new. As well as teaching in the UK I lived and taught in Botswana for 5 years and Spain for 2 years.

I have curriculum responsibility for Physical Education in school which involves organising clubs and competitions for the children. I am looking forward to a successful year working with our new Sports Ambassadors. These are four Year 6 students who have been selected to help me promote PE and sport both in and out of school, with particular emphasis on the values of the Olympic Games.

My name is Matt Flynn. I joined the school in August 2010, but I have had the opportunity to work in school before as a student teacher. This is my first appointment and I consider myself very lucky to be teaching a fantastic Year 5 class. Most of my hobbies evolve around sport and music, I’m particularly interested in offering PE and ICT related opportunities to children in school.

I am Miss Lee and I teach in Year 5. I am also the Deputy Head in school.

My name is Nick Lee and I teach Year 6 at Market Harborough C of E Primary School. I am passionate about my job and endeavour to make the childen's learning fun and lively wherever and whenever possible. My hobbies consist of sport in general, (I'll try my hand at anything!), though football and tennis remain as firm favourites.

My name is Emma Fellowes. I joined the school in August 2008 after having done some of my training here. I currently teach Year 2.

My name is Hazel Stephens and I teach Year 3 but have taught Years 4 and 6 previously.  I started here as an NQT. I look after History and Geography as well as promoting our Fairtrade policy. I have also been very involved with our anti-bullying campaign.

My name is Miss Bodycote and I have been teaching at MHCofE since I qualified in 2001. I have taught in Years 1 and 2 but have now moved to Key Stage 2 teaching Year 4. I am the Numeracy coordinator and I mentor new teachers, students and work experience pupils!

I am Julie Guiver and I teach in Year 3 having taught Years 4 and 6 previously. I am the curriculum leader for ICT and I head the Green Team. I have been at C of E since 2003. I like to get involved in environmental issues and raising awareness of global injustices.

I am Miss Helen Gogerly and I have been at MHCE since 1997.  I now work part time. I am the SENCO, I teach French across KS2 and I am the Link Teacher for the School Council.

My name is Miss Beverley Taylor and I am currently teaching Year 5 part-time. I also coordinate the art activities around school. The children produce some excellent work.  Sometimes children's work is chosen to be displayed in our school Art Gallery, which is right at the centre of our school.

My name is Claire Rodi.  I am currently teaching in Year 6 – it is all go but great fun at the same time!  I am the Music co-ordinator in school and my highlight of the week is Key Stage singing on Wednesday mornings.

Mr Tidmarsh is our premises officer and does a fantastic job, with his team, of keeping the school clean, tidy and well maintained. He sometimes works with children too. 'Mr T' won the Friday Hero award from the TES publication for being an assett to our school. Mrs. Tidmarsh and Miss Tidmarsh also work in school as does Master Tidmarsh! Happy families!

Steve Tidmarsh is our ICT technician and maintains the systems.

My name is Lois Clark and I'm the Admin Officer for the school.  I'm enjoying myself very much in what is for me a completely new direction, having worked for many years in the music publishing industry!

Mrs. Wilford is our administrative assistant. Our office staff are always available and willing to answer any queries you may have either in person or on the telephone.

Our support staff are Mrs Scott, Mrs Dobbs, Mrs Ritchie, Mrs Edgely, Mrs Lowther, Mrs Snelson, Mrs Holton, Mrs Adams x 2, Mrs May, Mrs Wainwright, Mrs Barber, Mrs Pickering, Mrs Ingram and Mrs Tomlinson. They work very hard to support the teaching and learning at school. We couldn't do without them.
