We really hope that our After School Club will provide parent/carers with a low cost and simple childcare solution as well as provide the children with a range of high quality activities.

Initially the After School Club will be open from 3.15pm – 5.30pm. Once we have an established provision, we will be looking to extend the hours and consider how we can accept childcare vouchers.

The club manager is Mrs Kirsty Cooke, with Mrs Tracey Lowe assisting on one evening a week. We will also have Miss Lucy Partington and Mrs Kiera Wilford helping to run the sessions and activities, as well as a sports coach running a separate sports club. Key staff employed in the provision have attended Paediatric First Aid Courses. All staff have attended Safeguarding courses and are DBS checked.

The After School Club will run Monday to Friday after school, during term time. There will be two sessions to the club:

Session 1: 3.15pm – 4.30pm: sports activity[ies] (max.30 children), or a creative activity/chillax session. (Depending on take up, more activities may be added at a later stage.)
A snack and drink will be provided.
Session 2: 4.30 – 5.30pm: Teatime Club. A light (buffet) tea will be served.

The cost of the provision is:
£4 for Session 1 [3.15pm – 4.30pm]
£8 if your child is signed up for Sessions 1 and 2 [double session: 3.15pm – 5.30pm]

Payment
All places must be paid for in advance, and must be made using our ParentPay system. We are aware that some of our new parents are not yet registered with ParentPay and so club spaces can be reserved this term with the expectation that all payments will be made as soon as possible in September.
Financial support may be available for children in receipt of pupil premium. Please see the office for further information.

Bookings
Children can be booked in on a regular basis each week/term or can be booked in on a casual basis, although casual places will be subject to availability. Bookings must be made by 3.00pm on the preceding day.

As After School Club is new, on this occasion we will be taking expressions of interest using the link below and will expect parents to confirm their booking and pay on ParentPay over the Summer or early in September.

Please complete the form by Monday 9th July: Click HERE to register your interest

We are currently unsure how popular this provision will be and are starting out small, so I would encourage you to return your form as soon as possible and certainly by Monday 9th July so we can tell parents about final arrangements for September.

We shall inform everyone of their allocation by Thursday 12th July. Once the Club opens in September, bookings will be made online through ParentPay. All places at the club will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. All spaces must be pre-booked: your child cannot attend the club if their place has not been confirmed.

Whilst we can offer more space on the chillax/creative sessions, the Sports Club session will be for a maximum of 30 children only each evening. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To start with, the sessions will consist of various age-appropriate multisports activities; this will be refined once the club is established.

The After School Club will have a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, but the usual standards of behavior, consistent with the school policy, are expected by all children. After School Club will provide an excellent environment
