Headteacher:

Ms J. Fisher
I was appointed to this school in 1995 and this is my second headship. Since this time the school has seen significant change. We have moved from being a split site school to one where the staff work together as a cohesive team. We have excellent facilities and a stimulating learning environment. I believe in recognising the qualities and strengths of all and our mission statement: "Providing the highest educational standards within which adults and children can grow, learn and work together" is embedded in the life of our school.

Teaching Staff:

My name is Mrs Taylor and I am the Foundation Stage manager. I have previously taught in both
year 1 & 2 classes. Within the foundation stage we work as a team, using both the inside and outside as our learning environments.

My name is Mrs Silvester and I teach in Year 1. Previously I have taught Nursery and Year 2 children.

My name is Mrs. Hilliar and I have been teaching at Market Harborough C of E Primary School for 5 years. I am currently teaching part-time in Key Stage 1 although have previously taught in Foundation and Years 1 and 2. I am also responsible for co-coordinating ICT within KS1 at our school.

Hello my name is David Hill and I currently teach Year 2 at Market Harborough C of E. I coordinate the subject of Science within our school. In the future I hope to set up an after school hockey club to further add to our excellent range of after school activities.

My name is Nick Lee and I currently teach Year 3 at Market Harborough C of E Primary School having previously trained in, and co-taught, a mixed year 1 / 2 class at a school in Melton Mowbray. I am passionate about my job and endeavour to make the childen's learning fun and lively wherever and whenever possible.
My hobbies consist of sport in general, (I'll try my hand at anything!), though football and tennis remain as firm favourites. Aside from this I enjoy nothing more than indulging in an active and wholly inspiring social life with close friends and family - which of course includes all the staff at the C of E!

My name is Emma Fellowes. I joined the school in August 2008 after having done some of my training here. I currently teach Year 3.

My name is Hazel Stephens and I teach Year 4 but have taught Year 6 previously.  I started as an NQT but previously worked At Old Mill in Broughton Astley and St Patricks in Leicester.  I look after History and Geography but have also been very involved with road safety and more recently our anti-bullying campaign.

My name is Matt Bown. I am the Deputy Head and I teach Year 4.

My name is Carolyn Booth.  I am currently teaching a Year 5 class but have also taught mixed 3 and 4 classes, and in previous schools have taught across the whole primary age range. I spent five years teaching in Botswana, Southern Africa - in primary and lower secondary schools and later spent two years teaching English in a primary school in Caceres, Spain.
I have curriculum responsibility for Physical Education and am currently trying to raise the profile of PE within school and establish more after-school opportunities for the children.
My hobbies include swimming, scuba-diving, wildlife and environmental issues and last year I passed my Spanish GCSE. I am trying to maintain Spanish links by forming an international link with a brand new Spanish primary school in Madrid. Children in Year 5 have been sharing customs with their Spanish friends and have been learning snippets of Spanish!

My name is Mr Bill Hayes. I have taught in Year 5 for several years. I have recently passed my A/S level in German and children in my class have made links with pupils from a school in Germany. I also organise activities for More Able pupils.
